JUNIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Location: St Helens Based, but will be required to travel as and when necessary
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
A Star Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Junior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop their skills through a combination of office-based and site-based work. You will work directly alongside an experienced senior engineer, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of electrical engineering projects with a clear pathway for long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with small electrical design projects
- Producing CAD drawings, as-fitted drawings and project manuals
- Reviewing and verifying test documentation
- Assisting with estimating and project costing
- Preparing Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Supporting engineers on-site to gain practical project experience
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience using CAD software
- Good IT and document management skills
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Previous site experience would be advantageous but is not essential
