Job Overview
We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver Pharmacy First consultations. This role involves assessing and managing patients presenting with minor illnesses, following Pharmacy First clinical pathways. Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote consultations for Pharmacy First services.
- Assess and manage minor illness presentations in line with service protocols.
- Provide treatment advice and supply medicines where appropriate.
- Document consultations accurately in the clinical system.
- Refer or escalate patients to other healthcare services when required.
- Maintain compliance with GPhC standards and clinical governance requirements.
Requirements
- GPhC-registered pharmacist.
- Experience in community pharmacy or primary care services.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently
- Independent Prescribing qualification desirable but not essential.

This is an on-site, office-based role You will deliver consultations and provide treatment for a range of minor illnesses, with all consultations conducted remotely at our online pharmacy hub.
