Self-Employed Hairdresser / Chair Rental Opportunity
Location: 51 High St, New Romney
Rental option: £40 per day
Commission option: 50/50 split
An exciting opportunity is available for a self-employed hairdresser to work from a beautifully fitted-out, pristine hair salon at 51 High St, New Romney.
The salon offers a stylish, professional environment where an established or growing hairdresser can welcome their own clients and create a more private, studio-style salon experience.
This could suit someone who already has a local client base, is currently working mobile, or wants to become self-employed without the cost and commitment of fitting out their own premises.
Two flexible options are available:
Chair rental
Rent a chair for £50 per day and operate your own self-employed business from the salon.
This option may be ideal for a hairdresser who already has their own clients and wants the freedom to manage their own appointments, prices and income.
Commission split
Alternatively, we are open to a 50/50 commission arrangement, where there is no daily chair rental charge and you receive 50% of the money generated from your clients.
Depending on the arrangement agreed, the salon may be able to provide:
- Professional salon space and styling station
- Backwash facilities
- Towels and general salon facilities
- Colour and other professional products
- Utilities and day-to-day premises costs
The exact arrangement can be discussed and tailored to suit the right person.

About you
We would be interested in hearing from qualified hairdressers who:

- Hold the appropriate hairdressing qualifications and insurance
Working days and hours can be discussed, with both full-time and part-time arrangements considered.
