Part-Time Lunch Assistant – Maritime Minis
Maritime Minis is seeking a dedicated and reliable Lunch-Time Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.
Hours: 09:30am – 2:30pm – Monday – Friday, all year-round including school holidays.
Salary: £17,500
Role Responsibilities:
Providing lunchtime cover and support within the room
Planning and delivering group activities for the children
Delivering focused activities with our SEN children, as well as supporting them within full group sessions
Working collaboratively with the wider nursery team to maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Requirements:
A caring and patient approach to working with young children
Experience supporting children with SEN would be advantageous, though not essential, as full training will be provided
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliability and flexibility, including availability throughout the school holidays
A passion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning
Early Years qualification
Must have the right to work in the UK
Qualifications and experience desired but not essential:
NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
An understanding of the EYFS
Knowledge of OFSTED standards
One years’ experience of working within a childcare setting
