Job Description:
As an Administrator with Sodexo at Newbold Revel, Rugby, CV23 0TH, you’ll provide essential administrative support to help keep the site and its services running smoothly.
Newbold Revel is a busy residential training centre, welcoming colleagues attending courses from across the Prison Service. Similar to a hotel or conference centre, the site provides training, accommodation and other facilities for those staying and learning on site.
This is a varied role where you’ll manage room and accommodation bookings, maintain accurate records, respond to emails and enquiries, and support a range of day-to-day administrative activities. You’ll also provide reception cover when required, welcoming clients, visitors, contractors and colleagues and ensuring they receive a friendly and professional service.
If you have previous administration or customer service experience, are well organised and are confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team. Experience using booking systems or working within a hotel, accommodation, reception or similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
What You’ll Do:
-
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the site team.
-
Manage room and hospitality bookings using the site's booking systems.
-
Support with administration relating to arrivals and departures.
-
Raise work orders and maintain accurate records and information.
-
Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
-
Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other internal systems to complete administrative tasks.
-
Order office and general site supplies when required.
-
Provide reception cover, welcoming visitors and contractors and helping them navigate the site.
-
Maintain visitor information, attendee lists, passes and signing-in records when covering reception.
-
Assist contractors and respond to general queries.
-
Work closely with the Accommodation Liaison Officer and wider site team to provide an efficient and professional service.
What You Bring:
-
Previous experience in an administrative, hotel, accommodation, reception or similar environment.
-
Good administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
-
Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
-
Previous experience using a booking or accommodation system would be beneficial.
-
Good written and verbal communication skills.
-
A professional and friendly approach when dealing with colleagues, visitors and contractors.
-
The ability to prioritise your workload and work using your own initiative.
-
The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
-
A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the site when required.
What we offer:
-
On-the-job training with experienced professionals
-
Fully funded apprenticeship qualifications
-

-

-
