Responsibilities
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides to accurately diagnose vehicle issues
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical instruments to perform repairs and maintenance
- Conduct assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of vehicle components with precision and attention to detail
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Repair or replace faulty parts including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules for each vehicle
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic or in a similar automotive repair role
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, and hydraulics
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex issues
- Hands-on experience with assembly processes and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when needed
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently

Pay: £26,369.56-£33,183.08 per year
