Our client, based in Maidenhead, offering a fantastic salary, and within walking distance from super transport links, are looking for an experienced and passionate practitioner who has experience of leading and supporting a nursery, ideally you are a deputy manager, Third in Charge, or an experienced room leader looking for a new challenge, they are seeking a room based deputy manager who for around 12 weeks of the year will step up and manage the setting. Based on a 40 hr working week Monday to Friday with a 5.45pm finish, our clients are offering a salary up to £38k depending on experience and qualifications. Ideally looking for a late August / early September start.

Essential for the Nursery Deputy Manager Role
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant)
- A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting.
- Has experience of being in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices
- Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting
Ideal Nursery Deputy Manager Candidate
- Passionate about early years education and children’s development within a nursery setting
- Confident leader, able to motivate and support staff and contribute to the management team
- Proactive, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards across the setting
- Promotes best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery supporting the team on a daily basis
