Job Title: Clinical Lead / Unit Manager/ Registered Nurse
Location: Eden Court Care Home Halifax West Yorkshire England
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Role Structure:
- 3 Days per Week – Clinical Lead (8 hours per day)
- 2 Days per Week – Registered Nurse (12-hour shifts)

The care homes operated by Radiance Care Limited include Stainton Way, Stainton Lodge and Eden Court.
Eden Court Care Home is a specialist 100-bed multi site care home comprising of three dedicated units supporting residents with:
- Early- onset/Advanced dementia
- Mental health needs
- Complex Nursing Requirements
- Behaviours that require positive behaviour support strategies
About the Role:
- We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Lead and Registered Nurse to join our leadership team at Eden Court Care Home and drive high standards of care and clinical excellence.This blended role combines clinical leadership responsibilities with hands-on nursing care, ensuring high standards of care delivery, compliance, and resident wellbeing throughout the home.The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing clinical operations, supporting nursing teams, maintaining compliance standards, and ensuring residents receive safe, effective, and person-centred care.Key Responsibilities:Clinical Leadership & Governance
- Provide strong clinical leadership across the home
- Lead and coordinate clinical teams in line with CQC regulations and organisational policies
- Support clinical governance, safeguarding, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care delivery across all units
- Promote a positive culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Nursing & Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care during clinical shifts
- Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical documentation
- Monitor resident wellbeing and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs
- Support residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, mental health conditions, and behaviours that require positive behaviour support strategies
- Support safe admissions, assessments, and transitions within the home
- Manage and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and incidents
Team Management & Supervision
- Supervise and support nurses and care staff across the service
- Conduct nurse supervision sessions, competency assessments, and performance support
- Mentor and develop nursing and care teams to maintain high clinical standards
Compliance & Multidisciplinary Working
- Lead and participate in clinical audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring
- Ensure adherence to CQC standards, policies, and best practice guidance
- Work collaboratively with GPs, mental health professionals, families, social workers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous service improvement
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
- Right to work in the UK
- Active NMC registration
- Enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience in a Clinical Lead, Senior Nurse, or similar role within a care home setting
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and clinical governance
- Knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration
- Compassionate, professional, and resident-focused approach
Desirable:
- Experience in supporting residents with Alzheimer’s, dementia, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviours
- Experience in nurse supervision, competency assessments, and audits
- Knowledge of risk management and multidisciplinary care coordination
