Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve smooth and even coatings.
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand design requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and disposal of paints and chemicals.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets high standards of craftsmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Valid driving license to travel between multiple job sites as needed.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and clients.
- Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and safety instructions clearly.
- Strong physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and working at heights over extended periods.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to painting and decorating tasks.
- Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with various painting techniques, wallpaper installation, and experience working on diverse types of surfaces.
