Overview
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Setter/Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality precision components. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to ensure efficient and accurate production. Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and programming parameters based on job specifications.
- Operate CNC equipment to produce parts with precision, maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Perform routine inspections of machined parts using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measurement devices.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues during production runs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machine setups, production logs, and quality checks.
- Conduct grinding, milling, or other secondary operations to refine finished parts when necessary.
- Experience in using Fanuc controls, including on machine programming.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in grinding, milling, and tooling setups.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Understanding of assembly processes and plastics materials is advantageous.
- Experience working with tooling adjustments and secondary machining operations like grinding or welding preferred.
Pay: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
