As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for the safety and security of The Arc Shopping Centre, its tenants and customers. Your day-to-day duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrolling of a shopping centre including the surrounding area
- Performing regular health and safety checks
- Providing a safe environment for shoppers in all public areas
- Liaising with Store Managers and local authorities
- Regular and accurate report writing
- Dealing with first aid situations
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
- Proactive interaction with the general public offering superb customer service at all times
Requirements:
- A valid SIA licence and First Aid certification - For the right candidate Westgrove may be willing to provide training in order to obtain a licence
- A valid CCTV is desirable
- Honesty, integrity, good communication skills
- A flexible and responsible approach to the job
- A level of good customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and take training opportunities when offered
- Reliability and enthusiasm for the role
