Experienced Handyman / Removal Operative

We are looking for an experienced, practical and reliable handyman to work alongside our growing removals team.
You must be confident carrying out jobs independently and know your way around hand and power tools.
You must be confident with:
- Assembling and dismantling wardrobes
- Assembling and dismantling beds and other furniture
- Hanging and mounting TVs
- Furniture assembly
- Basic drilling, fixing and fitting
- Using drills, impact drivers and general hand tools
- Helping with removals, including lifting, loading and unloading
- Working carefully inside customers’ homes
The role:
Hours are flexible and will depend on our bookings. Some jobs will require early starts and occasionally late finishes, so flexibility is important.
There is no driving licence required. Where arranged, we can pick you up for work and drop you back afterwards.
There is no strict uniform. We simply ask that you are clean and presentable when entering customers’ homes. A Strattons Move Group company T-shirt will be provided.
Pay is negotiable depending on your experience and ability. Cash payment can be arranged where appropriate.
We are looking for someone we can rely on regularly rather than somebody looking for a one-off day’s work. For the right person, as the company continues to grow, this could lead to a full-time permanent position.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
