Casual /Temporary / Part-Time HGV Class 1 Driver
We are a well-established and busy family-run steel fabrication and erection company based in Dundee. Due to an absence we are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team on a casual, temporary, full-time or part-time basis, supporting deliveries and collections across Scotland as required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Delivering structural steelwork to various sites throughout Scotland using artic lorries and 45’ trailers.
- Loading steelwork onto trailers using overhead cranes.
- Unloading steel deliveries at our workshop premises using overhead cranes.
- Delivering and collecting materials and orders using a transit van.
- Following all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- Assisting with other duties as required.
Skills and Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence.
- Previous experience handling structural steelwork preferred.
- Flexible, reliable and willing to support the team when needed.
- Ability to use, or willingness to learn to use, overhead cranes (training provided).
- Availability for occasional early starts or later finishes depending on workload.

Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
