Spire Clare Park Hospital is seeking experienced and professional Hospital Reception to join our Bank team. You'll provide essential reception and booking support during busy periods, annual leave and staff absences, helping ensure our patients receive an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration, reception, or customer service experience who is looking for flexible, ad-hoc work within a respected healthcare environment.

The Role
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every interaction is professional, efficient and welcoming.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and visitors and managing front desk enquiries
- Coordinating appointments and bookings using hospital systems
- Handling telephone and email enquiries from patients, consultants and insurers
- Supporting patient admissions and ensuring accurate documentation
- Working closely with clinical and administrative teams across the hospital
- Maintaining confidentiality and high standards of record keeping
- Delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for organised and proactive individuals who take pride in providing excellent service and thrive in a busy environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous administration, reception or customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Good IT skills, with experience using booking or administration systems
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- A positive, professional and adaptable approach
Experience within healthcare or knowledge of SAP systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
Working Hours
Bank Contract – Flexible Shifts
Shifts typically cover:
- 06:00 – 14:00
- 13:00 – 21:00
Monday to Saturday, depending on service requirements.
