We are currently recruiting for mechanical assembly operators to fit out large electro mechanical assemblies. The role will involve working day shift/back shift on a rotational basis.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- As an mechanical operator within Nichol McKay you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, repair of mechanical components.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Accurately fit, align, and secure mechanical components and sub-assemblies into finished products using hand and power tools.
- Maintain records and carry out checks on completed work.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested commensurate with your skills, knowledge and ability in the interests of the Company.
About you
- 3+ years mechanical assembly experience.
- Excellent knowledge of tools required for mechanical fitting.
- Knowledge and interpretation of work instructions and fault finding
- A safety-first mindset.

Pay: £13.00-£16.15 per hour
