ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a vacancy for a new staff member to join our Team at Littlesmith, Selfridges, Trafford Centre. We are looking for a creative individual, who is ready to learn new skills and become one of our sales assistant / jewellery technicians. ( no experience needed - all training will be given ) All Candidate's will need flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends, working a total of 32hrs per week.
£11.45 per hour ( plus paid lunch break )
LITTLESMITH:
We are a personalised jewellery company based in Selfridges, Trafford Centre. Our personalized service enables customers to create your own unique piece. We hand stamp each piece from start to finish to create bespoke pieces of jewellery using the old fashioned method of lettering. All our pieces are unique and made in store with same day collection.
Our focus is always on customer service, ensuring we provide the best experience possible. We offer a great opportunity for you to develop your teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
Daily duties include:
- Creating bespoke pieces for our customers, by hand-stamping, chaining, and packaging our necklaces
- Till Operations
- Completing customer orders
- Keeping the concession area clean
- Processing customers collection orders
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Ensure all store and company sales targets, policies and procedures are met and maintained
CANDIDATES APPLYING TO THIS ROLE MUST HAVE:
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service, and always uphold the values of Selfridges.
- Availability and flexibility to include late nights, some weekends and key trading dates
- Prior retail experience (at least 1 year)
- Experience working within a team
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Intuitive skill-set
- Effortlessly work as part of a team
- Interest in jewellery and a willingness to learn new skills
- Enthusiasm for the role, and thrive in a creative environment.
