Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic and Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various premises, including private homes and commercial properties. Driving licence essential as on occasions you will be requested to drive the works vehicle from job to job.
Uniform and cleaning products provided.
You will be working in a small team or in pairs - no working alone
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of domestic and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards and adhere to client specifications
- Manage cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service
- Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and team members.
- Keep accurate records of completed work and any issues encountered during shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
