We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a bar restaurant environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess good organisational skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as required
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for all staff and patrons
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Good time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a positive attitude
