Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Standards Engagement Senior Coordinator to provide maternity leave cover for a 12-month period beginning in October 2026.
This role is responsible for maintaining continuity across Textile Exchange's Standards Engagement function during a significant period of implementation across our standards system. Working closely with the Standards Engagement Lead and cross-functional teams, the Senior Coordinator will ensure stakeholders continue to receive timely, accurate, and consistent support while maintaining trusted relationships across the industry.
The successful candidate will play a key role in stakeholder case management, community engagement, knowledge management, and continuous improvement initiatives that support the implementation of Textile Exchange's standards.
Because this is a maternity cover, the successful candidate must be able to contribute quickly with limited onboarding. An intermediate working knowledge of Textile Exchange's standards system—or comparable sustainability standards, certification, and assurance systems—is essential to effectively interpret stakeholder inquiries, provide practical guidance, and coordinate across internal teams.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. StakeholderCaseManagement & Technical Interpretation
- Triage incoming stakeholder inquiries, assess the nature and complexity of each request, and assign internal subject matter experts and responders as needed to gather technical input and ensure accurate, timely, and consistent responses.
- Serve as one of the primary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries related to Textile Exchange's standards, certification system, and implementation requirements.
- Provide timely, accurate, and practical guidance by interpreting standards, policies, procedures, certification requirements, and supporting guidance documents.
- Manage stakeholder expectations while identifying when complex policy questions require escalation to subject matter experts.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and consistency across all stakeholder interactions.
- Monitor service levels and case performance to ensure stakeholders receive consistent and responsive support.
- Identify recurring inquiry trends, operational challenges, and opportunities to improve stakeholder experience.
2. Standards Hub & Knowledge Management
- Maintain and continuously improve Textile Exchange's Standards Hub Community to ensure stakeholders have access to current, accurate, and user-friendly resources.
- Coordinate the publication and organization of guidance documents, policy updates, announcements, FAQs, webinar recordings, and implementation resources.
- Develop, maintain, and update stakeholder-facing policy summaries and implementation write-ups that accompany monthly standards publications, helping stakeholders understand what new or revised policies mean in practice and how they should be implemented.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen self-service resources, improve content discoverability, and reduce recurring stakeholder inquiries through proactive knowledge management.
3. Standards Communications & Newsletter Coordination
- Lead the planning, coordination, and approval of Textile Exchange's Standards Newsletter, ensuring timely communication of standards updates, policy publications, implementation resources, and key announcements.
- Collaborate with Standards, Assurance, Communications, and other internal teams to identify content priorities, gather technical input, and coordinate publication timelines.
- Translate complex technical and policy information into clear, stakeholder-focused content
- Maintain consistency across Textile Exchange's standards communications by ensuring updates are accurately reflected across the Standards Newsletter, Standards Hub, standards webpages, policy pages, and other stakeholder-facing resources.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Feedback & Reporting
- Support administration and continuous improvement of Textile Exchange's stakeholder feedback systems.
- Analyze stakeholder feedback and inquiry trends to identify recurring themes and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to recommendations that improve guidance, training materials, and stakeholder resources.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Standards, Assurance, Data & Technology, Communications, Industry Engagement, and other internal teams to ensure coordinated stakeholder support.
- Contribute to implementation activities across Textile Exchange's standards system by supporting cross-functional planning and communication.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen stakeholder engagement and operational effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in sustainability, environmental science, supply chain, business, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
- 2+ yearsin stakeholder engagement, sustainability standards, certification, customer success, program coordination, or a related role.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Textile Exchange's standards system or comparable sustainability standards and certification frameworks is required.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical requirements and communicate them clearly to diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Experience managing stakeholder inquiries or case management systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated interest in Textile Exchange’s vision, mission, and goals.
Employment Package
- Full-Time Position, 40 Hours a Week
- Required travel: less than 10%
- Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 USD
