Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our small, friendly team. This is a varied role combining on-site work with time in our fully equipped workshop — ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering and taking ownership of their work.
The Role
You’ll be working across a wide range of plant & commercial vehicles both on-site and in-house.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault-finding, repair, and assembly of hydraulic hoses and systems
- Servicing and repair of plant machinery, vehicles, and equipment
- Managing and maintaining a mobile service unit
- Carrying out hydraulic cylinder repairs (training provided if required)
- Working independently on-site while representing the company professionally
- Completing job paperwork and processing customer orders accurately
- Supporting the trade counter when required
About You
- Hands-on, practical engineer with strong fault-finding ability
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
- Takes pride in delivering high-quality, dependable work
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Mechanical or hydraulic experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Working Hours
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday 8:00am – 12:00pm (2 on, 1 off rota)

Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Hydraulics: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (required)
