This is for a day's shift opportunity working 7-3 Monday to Friday.

The Role
As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our production equipment through both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the Ross & Catherall site.
Your primary focus will be on electrical maintenance, diagnosing faults, troubleshooting equipment issues, and carrying out timely repairs to minimise downtime and support production targets. Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams, you'll identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective, long-term solutions.
You'll take pride in delivering a first-time fix wherever possible, maintaining high standards of workmanship and ensuring all maintenance activities, installations, and repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry best practice.
The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of engineering projects across the site, including the installation and commissioning of new machinery, equipment upgrades, production line reconfigurations, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing reliability, reducing downtime, and improving overall operational performance.

If you have any of the below skills, we would love to talk to you about your next career move:
- Knowledge around Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering or relevant work experience.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- PLC knowledge in programming, fault finding and diagnosis.
- Experience with low voltage installations and fault findings and the ability to read schematic drawings are all advantageous.
