Supported Living Service Manager – Level 5 Required
Location: Gloucester, GL1 (Close proximity services)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) with weekend availability and on-call coverage
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year + Performance Bonus
Key Requirements at a Glance:
- Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (essential).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a Managerial or equivalent leadership role within a supported living setting.
- Inspection Record: Proven track record with CQC / Local Authority inspections (minimum "Good" rating).
- Specialist Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), complex needs, autism, mental health, and trauma-informed care.
- Licence: Full UK Driving Licence with business insurance and vehicle access.
About the Role
Lead with purpose, inspire teams, and empower lives. Enabling Lives is looking for a hands-on Supported Living Service Manager to oversee a cluster of closely located services in Gloucester (GL1).
In this role, you will work in partnership with the Senior Management Team, PBS Specialists, and frontline care teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support for young adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and complex behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead daily operations across local supported living sites, ensuring full CQC compliance and quality standards.
- PBS and Person-Centred Care: Collaborate with the PBS and Therapeutic teams to implement co-produced support plans and active support models.
- Team Development: Mentor, supervise, and coach Deputy Managers and support staff to foster a positive, empowering workplace culture.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize reflective practice, quality audits, and stakeholder feedback to drive service excellence.
