Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in a variety of motorhomes vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electrical components, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical faults in motorhomes using specialised testing equipment and tools
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, sensors, and electronic modules
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Install new electrical components and accessories as required
- Conduct safety checks and ensure all repairs meet industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during repair procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large or heavy components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive electrical systems are preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
