Summary
The Governors of Kennington Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and committed Key Stage 2 teacher to join our dedicated team as a Year 4 Class Teacher with subject leadership responsibility. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious practitioner to play a key role in shaping teaching and learning, contributing to whole-school improvement, and leading a curriculum area across the school.
This post is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The successful candidate will take on responsibility for leading a subject area (to be confirmed based on experience and school priorities), including:
- Monitoring and evaluating teaching and learning
- Supporting colleagues to develop practice
- Driving improvement through a clear subject vision and action planning

As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to teach a Key Stage 2 lesson and participate in a formal interview.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
