About Us
SEN Sports is one of the leading inclusive sports clubs in London, supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Every week, we work with families across multiple locations, delivering engaging sports and physical activity sessions that help children develop confidence, communication skills, motor skills, emotional regulation, coordination and social interaction.
We are looking for passionate, reliable and energetic individuals to join our coaching team through our Coach Development Pathway.
About the Role
Successful applicants will initially complete a shadowing and training period before progressing into paid coaching opportunities.
You will support and deliver fun, structured and engaging sports sessions for children with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, developmental delays and learning disabilities.
Depending on experience, availability and location, coaches may support:
- Weekend group sports clubs
- One-to-one sessions
- Holiday activities
- Community events
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience working with children with SEND
- Genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Interest in sport, physical activity and coaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional and punctual
- Willingness to travel to different coaching locations as required
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Safeguarding & first aid training (or willingness to complete before starting)
- Weekend commitment
Desirable Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- First Aid qualification
- Sports coaching qualifications
- Experience delivering group activities

Important Information
This role forms part of our Coach Development Pathway. Successful applicants will be required to complete shadowing, training and safeguarding requirements before being offered paid coaching opportunities.
Due to the nature of our services, applicants must be comfortable travelling to different locations across London and surrounding areas.
Pay: From £20.00 per hour
