Self-employed - Associate Clinical Psychologist – Workplace Support
£100-£300 for appointment and report

Job Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and empathetic Clinical Psychologist to join our growing associate team, delivering high-quality psychological support to employees across our organisation.
This role is focused on early intervention, mental health promotion, and individual psychological care, helping to build a resilient, healthy, and engaged workforce.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in adult mental health and passionate about applying psychological expertise in a workplace context. You will deliver psychological assessments, one-to-one support and collaborate closely with management teams to support employee mental health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting detailed psychological assessments using interviews, observations, psychometric tests, and questionnaires.
Diagnosing a wide range of psychological, emotional, and behavioural disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD, psychosis).
Developing psychological formulations to understand the root causes of an individual’s difficulties.
Deliver timely, evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, and solution-focused approaches.
Work with HR and line managers to advise on psychological aspects of employee support, including return-to-work plans and reasonable adjustments.
Taking into consideration the individuals health, understanding their role and the organisation responsibilities to determine whether an individual is fit for work as part of the assessment.
Support data collection and outcome monitoring to demonstrate impact and inform service improvement.
Using PAMs secure CRM system, maintain clear and confidential case notes and adhere to professional and ethical standards.
Receive regular clinical supervision and participate in peer learning and professional development activities.
Essential Requirements:
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) recognised by the HCPC
Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist
At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, including work in adult mental health or workplace wellbeing
Competency in delivering a range of psychological therapies (e.g., CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based approaches)
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees from a variety of backgrounds
A collaborative mindset and experience working alongside HR or occupational health professionals Desirable:
Experience in a private or corporate setting, including Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs)
Knowledge of workplace mental health legislation, policies, and return-to-work practices
Accreditation or training in relevant short-term therapeutic models
Interest or background in data-driven service evaluation
