About the Role
Aktraco Logistics are a company specialising in bulk transportation of food-grade liquids across the UK. We are looking for reliable, intelligent, and professional HGV Drivers to join our growing team. We undertake a variety of haulage work across the UK, offering consistent work and competitive daily rates. Due to expansion and additional routes being added to our workflow we are looking for an additional tramper driver to cover jobs between the Northwest and Northeast. The ideal candidate will be someone willing to learn and grow with us. With Aktraco, you are not just a driver, you are a valued part of the team. The role will involve general haulage duties and will include nights out.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying out various bulk liquid deliveries and collections.
- Ensuring all loads are documented correctly and transported safely.
- Completing all relevant paperwork with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects as required.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- Daily inspection, cleaning and general husbandry of vehicles and trailers.
- Adhering to drivers’ hours and highway code.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good knowledge of UK road networks.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including nights out.
- Reliable, punctual, smart, and safety conscious.
- Experience with tankers and ISO Tanks desirable, but not essential.
- Aged 23 or over (will consider over 21 for the right candidate).
- Held Class one License for 12 months (with experience).
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and highway code.
