About Bright Outcomes and EduAurora Group
Bright Outcomes is a rapidly growing, specialist alternative education provider supporting children and young people who are unable to access mainstream education, often because of SEND, mental health needs or other complex circumstances. Our highly individualised, person-centred approach enables young people to access meaningful education in a way that works for them, with a strong focus on inclusion, safeguarding and positive long-term outcomes.
Bright Outcomes is part of EduAurora Group, a growing group of organisations united by a commitment to improving education, inclusion and outcomes for children, young people and families. EduAurora provides the central leadership and infrastructure that enables each organisation within the Group to grow sustainably while retaining its individual identity and purpose. We are ambitious, innovative and proudly values-led, with specialist expertise spanning alternative education, SEND, advocacy and professional support. As we continue to expand, we are investing in strong people, systems and services that will enable us to extend our reach without losing the warmth, flexibility and person-centred ethos at the heart of our work.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, proactive and highly organised HR Officer to take ownership of the day-to-day HR function across EduAurora Group. This is not simply an HR administration role. You will work closely with our Group Business Manager and senior leaders, taking responsibility for HR compliance, recruitment and onboarding, employee records, contracts, HR systems and processes, while helping us develop the workforce infrastructure needed to support a rapidly growing organisation.
We are looking for someone with at least three years' substantive generalist HR experience who is confident working independently and using their own professional judgement. You will be exceptionally organised, accurate and detail-focused, but also proactive and solution-focused. We want someone who notices when something needs attention, investigates when something doesn't look right, and brings solutions rather than waiting to be given a task list. You will need excellent communication skills, sound knowledge of UK HR practice and the confidence to advise managers, identify risks and know when something needs to be checked or escalated.
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys building and improving HR systems, rather than simply operating within established ones, and who is excited by the opportunity to help shape the people function of an ambitious, values-led organisation as it grows.
Why work with us?
We want people to enjoy working at EduAurora and to have the flexibility, support and space to do their best work. Alongside joining an ambitious, values-led organisation at an exciting stage of growth, you'll benefit from:
- Competitive Salary (pro rata for part time)
- 45 days' annual leave per year, pro rata
- Hybrid and flexible working, giving you greater control over how you structure your working week
- A supportive and collaborative team where your expertise and ideas will be genuinely valued
- Ongoing CPD and professional development, with opportunities to continue developing your HR knowledge and career
- The opportunity to shape and develop the HR function rather than simply inherit an established way of doing things
- The potential for this 20-hour role to grow into a full-time position as EduAurora Group continues to expand
- The opportunity to grow your role alongside a rapidly developing group of organisations
- Free on-site parking when working from our Leamington Spa office
- Free snacks and drinks in the office, because the little things matter too
Most importantly, you'll be joining an organisation where people matter. We are ambitious about growth, but equally ambitious about creating a workplace where people feel trusted, supported and able to make a meaningful contribution.
