Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive handyman/woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and must have care home experience. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring all equipment and machinery operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently, supporting the organisation's commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment across the care home.
- Lead and organise maintenance projects and liaise with external companies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
- Provide excellent customer service internally by supporting the team with timely maintenance solutions.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership or experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, for clear communication across teams.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
