Commis Chef - Part time
The award winning, Gordon Castle Walled Garden Restaurant are seeking to recruit a key member of kitchen staff for our busy restaurant.
Looking for an experienced and competent commis or kitchen assistant who can:
- Prepare and cook food to order in a restaurant environment
- Experience in operating in a fast-moving working environment
- Can work alone, as part of a team and use their own initiative
- Works to a high hygiene standard ( hygiene certificate required)
- Awareness and ability to work with food allergies or specific diet concerns
- Keeping all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross contamination
- This role is covers 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday. Hours are variable between 9am and 3pm but may increase during the summer season
