Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst
Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Overall, whilst the Company is in the construction phase, the Boards’ principal focus is on the development and construction of Sizewell C on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. The Company is maturing to meet all these requirements.
Sizewell C is economically regulated by OFGEM under the Regulated Asset Base (RAB) model similar to other UK electricity distribution networks and Thames Tideway.
Sizewell C construction strategy is to replicate the design of Hinkley Point C, using the majority of the same supply chain, but innovating in the way it is delivered to achieve savings in time and cost of around 20%. The CCO will need to be guided by and incorporate lessons learned from the Hinkley Point C commercial delivery to achieve Sizewell C’s ambition.
Following Financial Completion and Revenue Commencement, Sizewell C is fully funded and is owned by; The Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero representing HM Government, La Caisse, Centrica, EDF and Amber Infrastructure.
Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Hybrid; London - 2 days per week; occasional travel to Suffolk when required
Salary: £45,000- £50,000 per annum (including £3,500) London allowance+ benefits
Annual Leave: 28 days + bank holidays (rising to 30 days after 5 years)
Bonus: Up to 5%
Pension: Up to 7.5% employee + 15% employer contribution

We're looking for a talented Data Analyst / Business Intelligence Analyst (Internal job title: Programme Excellence & Innovation Technical Support) to join our Programme Excellence & Innovation team and help turn complex data into meaningful insights that support critical business decisions.
Working across a nationally significant infrastructure programme, you'll create dashboards, analyse performance data, improve reporting processes, and provide valuable insight that helps drive project success.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
Develop and maintain Power Apps for various functions / programmes
Analyse and interpret data from multiple systems and data sources.
Produce KPI reporting, trend analysis, management information and business insights.
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver practical solutions.
Improve data quality, automate reporting processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilise Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Excel, SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate and AI enabled technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
What We're Looking For
You'll have experience working with data, reporting and business intelligence tools, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Essential Skills
Proven experience using Power BI, DAX, Power Query and Excel for reporting and data visualisation.
Proven experience using Power Apps and Power Automate.
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
Experience cleansing, transforming and analysing data from multiple sources.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
Desirable
Experience within infrastructure, energy, engineering, PMO or other regulated environments.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modelling and reporting best practice.
Experience developing KPI dashboards, management information and performance reporting.
