About the Role
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator to join our Ashford team. You will play an essential role in maintaining smooth, efficient daily operations—ensuring every order is safely received, processed, and dispatched on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries against documentation
- Arrange both deliveries and collections with courier companies
- Accurately pick, pack, label, and secure customer orders for shipment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure dispatch deadlines are met smoothly
- Keep inventory data and stock records clean, accurate, and structured
- Ensure goods are stored safely and securely
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organised at all times
- Maintain strict health and safety standards across all work areas
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or order packing
- Forklift certification is a strong advantage (or practical equipment handling experience)
- High reliability, strong time management, and solid attention to detail
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for handling documentation and stock records on the in house warehouse management system
- Clear communication and a positive attitude
- Physical capability for material handling, lifting, and moving stock
- Ability to prioritise and keep a cool head whilst under pressure
- Able to work both independently or as part of a team
