Assistant Manager – The Ship Inn, Elie
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to join our fantastic team at The Ship Inn in Elie. As a key part of our leadership team, you will support the General Manager in the daily running of our busy, high-volume venue, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations.
Candidate must be able to drive and have their own car.
About the Role:
- Assist in the management of daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer experience.
- Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver outstanding hospitality.
- Work closely with the General Manager to drive sales, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and food hygiene regulations.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both guests and staff.
About You:
- Experience as an Assistant Manager (or similar leadership role) in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve effectively.
- A team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
