Job Overview
Position: Pest Control Technician (Self-Employed / Subcontractor)
Hours: 3 days per week initially, with the potential to expand to 5 days as the business grows.
Location: Office meetings required weekly to collect schedules, supplies, and complete assigned tasks.
Compensation: Fuel costs covered, uniform provided, and competitive self-employed rates (to be discussed).
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine and responsive pest control treatments efficiently and safely.
Adhere strictly to industry regulations regarding pesticide use, safety protocols, and humane practices.
Attend weekly morning meetings at the office to review workloads, drop off documentation, and pick up assigned tasks.
Maintain clear communication with office staff and clients, providing professional advice and treatment reports.
Requirements
Experience: Prior pest control knowledge or experience is essential (relevant certifications/qualifications are a strong advantage).
Vehicle: Must provide your own reliable van or commercial vehicle suitable for carrying equipment and supplies.
Work Ethic: Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while representing the company to a high standard.
Status: Must be registered as self-employed (or willing to register) to handle your own taxes and insurance.
