The Language Training Co. is seeking dynamic, motivated and responsible Activity Leaders to support international students aged under 18 at our language school in Bournemouth starting in January 2026. Established in 2008, we’re proud of our reputation for high-quality teaching and a personalised, friendly atmosphere.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the Activities Manager to plan and deliver a fun, engaging programme of activities and excursions.
- Lead by example, ensuring students are motivated, involved and having a great experience.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and welfare at all times.

About Our Junior Programmes
We welcome students from over 15 countries each year. Alongside their English lessons, they enjoy a full programme of daytime and evening activities, plus half-day and full-day trips to top UK attractions.
Groups follow a rotating ‘zigzag’ schedule, alternating between morning lessons and afternoon activities.
Activity Leaders are key to planning, promoting and running this programme.
Working Hours & Pay
- Typically 6 days per week with 1 full day off.
- Involves activities, excursions, trips, and general supervision.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies.
- Prepare, run and pack away all equipment for activities;
- Research local areas for excursions.
· Escort groups on trips and lead walking tours of the main sights providing the students with relevant information.
- Participate in inductions and contribute positively to school life.
- Supervise and motivate students during activities.
- Help with administration, airport transfers, meal supervision and emergency situations.
- Lead walking tours, organise events, encourage participation, and ensure students feel supported and welcome.
