Snapdragon Gardening Services is looking to expand our team with a skilled, reliable, and hard-working Seasonal Maintenance Gardener.
We are seeking someone with solid hands-on experience in garden maintenance who can work to a high standard, manage time effectively, and represent the company professionally on site with clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, well-established team with consistent seasonal work across domestic and commercial properties.
Key duties
- Grass cutting, edging and strimming
- Hedge trimming and shrub maintenance
- Weeding, pruning and general border maintenance
- Planting and seasonal tidy-ups
- Leaf clearance and keeping sites tidy and presentable
- Safe and efficient use of hand tools and power tools
- Basic groundskeeping and landscape maintenance tasks
- Loading and unloading tools and materials
- Working to job schedules and completing tasks within allocated timeframes
- Maintaining excellent standards of customer service on site
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in maintenance gardening, grounds maintenance, or landscaping
- Good working knowledge of:
- mowing techniques and machinery
- hedge cutting and pruning
- plant care and general garden maintenance
- Ability to work efficiently to a professional standard
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Positive attitude, punctual, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team
- Good awareness of health & safety on site
- Available to work one mandatory Saturday shift every 4 weeks
Desirable (but not essential)
- PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using a wide range of commercial garden machinery
- Experience in both domestic and commercial maintenance work
