Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Casual Cleaner to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers flexible hours, ideally 5 days a week in the morning before opening. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help keep our facilities in top condition, supporting a positive experience for everyone who enters.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to achieve high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and tools
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
- Adhere to company policies and health regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
