Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces according to client specifications
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness while adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences
- Manage your own schedule to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality services is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously with clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
- Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking experience for clients requiring light meal prep or kitchen tidying
