Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and light household chores to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Administer medication as per care plans and document accordingly
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Follow individualised care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent care delivery
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
Experience
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to implement them effectively
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation purposes
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients safely
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining excellent organisational skills
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others

Pay: £13.45-£13.65 per hour
