New Business Development Executive
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven New Business Development Executive to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with prospective clients, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to revenue growth. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and market research skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead-generation activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and key decision-makers.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations to potential customers.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close new business deals.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful client onboarding and project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions to expand business contacts.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the relevant industry sector.
- Knowledge of B2B sales processes and business development strategies.
- Existing network of industry contacts is an advantage.
