As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated E-Commerce Manager to take ownership of our online sales channels and drive our digital growth.
The Role
As our E-Commerce Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and optimising our e-commerce operations, ensuring our website delivers an outstanding customer experience while maximising sales and profitability. You'll work closely with management, suppliers, and marketing partners to continuously improve our online presence and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of our e-commerce website.
- Optimise product listings, categories, and navigation to improve customer experience.
- Upload and maintain product data, pricing, specifications, and imagery.
- Monitor website performance and implement improvements to increase conversion rates.
- Manage promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, and online merchandising.
- Analyse sales, customer behaviour, and website analytics to identify growth opportunities.
- Improve SEO across product and category pages.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information.
- Work alongside marketing to support email campaigns, paid advertising, and social media promotions.
- Monitor stock availability and ensure products are accurately represented online.
- Identify and implement new technologies and automation to improve efficiency.
- Stay informed on e-commerce trends and competitor activity.
- Support B2B marketing initiatives by developing targeted outreach strategies and maintaining professional relationships with partners.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing an e-commerce website.
- Strong understanding of online retail and digital customer journeys.
- Experience with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to increase online sales.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience within builders' merchants, hardware, DIY, or construction products.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and email marketing platforms.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
- Experience with marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, or B&Q Marketplace.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
We have a bonus structure that rewards the growth of the sales revenue that will be realised quarterly, the more we earn the more you earn.
This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to lead digital growth initiatives within a fast-paced e-commerce setting while honing their skills across various digital platforms and marketing tools.
Pay: £26,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
