Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of private homes including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and organisation
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as window washing or deep cleaning upon request
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled periods
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning is desirable but not essential — training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and products is advantageous
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality service
- Professional manner when interacting with clients
- Flexible to work weekdays — no weekends required
- Can work independently and reliably
- This is a self‑employed subcontractor role — you will manage your own tax and national insurance
- Own Public Liability Insurance is required
- Right to work in the UK and 2 references needed
