Aldous Systems is a specialist supplier of professional AV and smart-building technology. We are a key UK partner for AVProEdge, whose product range covers video over IP, conference room solutions, HDBaseT extenders and matrices, USB point-to-point kits, HDMI and USB-C cables, and more.
This is a dedicated, brand-focused role. You will own AVProEdge and have one clear mission: drive new commercial business and grow our top-line sales.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Pro AV sales professional with an established network of relationships among commercial AV integrators in the UK. Your focus will be singular — sell the full AVProEdge range and increase our top-line sales by £500,000 within 12 months.
You'll be selling across the entire AVProEdge portfolio, including:
- Video over IP solutions
- Conference room solutions
- HDBaseT extenders
- HDBaseT matrices
- USB point-to-point kits
- HDMI cables
- USB-C cables
- The complete AVProEdge product range
Day to day you'll be opening doors with integrators, building and managing a pipeline, providing technical pre-sales support, and converting relationships into orders. This is a role for someone who already knows the market, knows the people, and is confident they can hit the ground running.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record selling Pro AV solutions into the UK commercial integrator channel
- An established, active network of relationships with commercial AV integrators
- The confidence and credibility to deliver £500k of incremental top-line growth in 12 months
- Strong technical understanding of Pro AV — video over IP, HDBaseT, signal distribution and connectivity
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and account-management skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable owning a number
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customers across the UK
Nice to Have
- Existing familiarity with the AVProEdge range or directly comparable brands
- Experience launching or growing a single brand within a distributor or reseller
- Knowledge of the wider AV ecosystem — control, conferencing and IP networking
