Job Summary:
We're on the lookout for waitstaff to join our vibrant restaurant team at The Doghouse, applicants must be 18 years of age or older. At The Doghouse we pride ourselves on our friendly service, welcoming atmosphere and our passion for food and beverage. In this role, you will be the face of the establishment, providing our guests with a memorable dining experience from start to finish, serving fresh locally sourced produce cooked over our bespoke fire grill in our Michelin recognised kitchen. Our ideal candidate would share our passion for food and drink, bringing a positive vibe to every shift and eager to work in a developing female led business.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests and insure a warm welcome when they first enter our establishment
- Accurately take beverage and food orders, communicating with the kitchen on allergies and dietary requirements to the proper standard
- Navigate our till system and manage payments from your guests accurately
- Promptly respond to any guests needs, while continuing to check up on their table throughout the duration of their meal, to fulfil any requests
- Maintain a smooth service by serving food and drinks promptly, upselling when appropriate and maintaining a uniform presentation standard
- Uphold sanitation and cleanliness standards, adhering to food hygiene and safely handling protocols
Experience
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a customer facing role.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, with great problem solving skills to resolve issues and disputes quickly and efficiently while in service.
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and bill accuracy are vital.
- Training will be provided however previous experience in service is appreciated.
- An expectation of time keeping to a high standard.
- Strong customer service skills with focus on guest relations and satisfaction.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
