Inpatient and Community Team Lead Physiotherapist
Band 7 £52,845 - £61,466 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,461 per annum

We are looking for a motivated, compassionate and experienced Physiotherapist to become part of our small, friendly Physiotherapy team based in the Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway.
To be successful in this post you must be well organised and self motivated, with a flexible approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing and delivering the Physiotherapy Service for In-patients, Western Isles Hospital and Community patients in Lewis and Harris. The team includes Band 5 and Band 6 Physiotherapists, and Clinical Support Workers.
This is a challenging but rewarding role. We aim to improve the experience of patients both within the local hospital and in the Community, Shifting the Balance of Care from hospital to community settings by maintaining patients in their own home for as long as possible.
You should demonstrate the ability to work with other health care professionals, to support education within the team and related services, and a commitment to delivering inclusive, equitable care that respects individual needs and preferences.
This post does not currently require weekend or on call working.
