An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-established and growing structural engineering consultancy based in Exeter.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in their career, leading projects from concept through to completion while mentoring junior engineers and working closely with clients across a diverse range of residential, commercial, industrial and refurbishment projects.
The Role
- Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects.
- Produce structural calculations, technical reports and design drawings.
- Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors and other design professionals.
- Undertake site visits, structural inspections and provide technical advice.
- Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers.
- Ensure designs comply with current UK building regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Several years' experience in a Structural Engineer or Senior Structural Engineer role within a UK consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of structural design in steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
- Experience using structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, AutoCAD or similar.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Pay: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
