Overview:
Merewood Country House Hotel, Windermere, is looking for a detail-oriented Wedding Coordinator with excellent organisational skills to effectively handle and convert wedding and social enquiries from the initial to the final stages, provide seamless communication throughout the planning process and ensure that every wedding is executed flawlessly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and establish and maintain relationships with all parties in connection to the wedding or event
- Effectively coordinate all weddings and special events and assist when necessary with any other events that the hotel may host
- Conduct show rounds for weddings, ensuring that correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry. Your ability in making couples feel welcome and ensuring they buy into what we do, is essential.
- Produce accurate planning documents, sharing these with the appropriate parties as well as the hotel teams
- Accurately produce contracts and billing information
- Handle any unexpected issues during the planning process or on the wedding day
- This role is permanent
The Ideal Candidate
- You will need excellent organisation and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use your own initiative.
- We are looking for someone with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive, can do attitude.
- You will be happy working on the bar, or serving the tables, if required
- You will be customer focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
- Happy to work weekends
- Communication skills are essential, with the ability to build strong and effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the business and to create a rapport with guests.
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a drive to succeed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to £27,750.00 per year
