We are currently supporting a care provider who's are seeking a Registered Care Manager to oversee a service delivering 700 hours per week across the St Albans district that supports adults within their own home.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the overall leadership, management and quality of care delivered, ensuring the service operates in line with CQC standards and best practice.
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + bonus scheme.
Contracted Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday
The Registered Manager will play a key role in creating a safe, supportive and person-centred environment.
This is a permanent, full time role.
A full UK driving license is also required.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the service operates in line with CQC regulations and organisational policies
- Leading, supporting and developing the staff team
- Monitoring care plans and ensuring person-centred support is delivered
- Managing staffing levels, rotas and workforce planning
- Working collaboratively with families, professionals and external agencies
- Supporting audits, inspections and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and quality care
Essential:
- Proven track record of successfully growing a domiciliary care service with private customer
- Previous experience of Registered Manager with the CQC (3 Years Minimum), Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, inspection process and the single assessment framework
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social care (or working towards it)
- Commercial Awareness with experience in marketing, networking and business development
