Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems across our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and ensuring the continuous operation of equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of our operations. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty electrical components.
- Install new electrical systems or upgrade existing infrastructure in compliance with safety standards.
- Read, create, amend and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and optimise operational efficiency.
Skills
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Extensive electrical experience across industrial or commercial environments.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to machinery maintenance and repair.
- Demonstrated ability in maintenance planning and execution.
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills for reporting and teamwork purposes.
- Customer service to effectively liaise with internal clients or external contractors as needed. Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year
