Our company is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in Braintree. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business.
Assisting the General Manager in daily operations and decision making- Managing and motivating staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Overseeing stock control
- Ensuring the premises are clean, organised and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Assisting in recruitment, training, and development of staff
- Contributing to marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and profitability
- Proven experience in a similar role within the retail or hospitality industry, ideally the electrical industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
